Clément’s Canne Bleue is the world’s first agricole rum made from the distillation of juice from a single sugarcane variety, the Blue Cane. This sugarcane variety is distinguished by its bluish-purple hue and its particularly fruity aromatic potential. This cuvée is an agricole rum with AOC Martinique designation.
The blue canes used for this batch are traditionally harvested between January and June at the optimal point of the season. After juice extraction, fermentation, and distillation, the resulting Canne Bleue white rum is left to rest for several months, ensuring a rich aromatic profile and unmatched smoothness on the palate.
Tips from Julien Thimon
“Naturally contrasting and intense, the Blue Cane stands on its own. Best enjoyed lightly chilled.”
